A look
inside---
ADAC
is where Designers and Architects shop and have an opportunity to be
inspired by the Southeast’s' premier design center's residential and
commercial showrooms.
ADAC also offers the professional many educational and networking
opportunities.
Tucked away at 3349 Peachtree Hills Avenue is the ever
exciting and purely inspirational Atlanta Decorative Arts Center. Its
nondescript facade belies the staggering opulence of the world within.
ADAC has five floors of showrooms and an adjoining annex encompassing
550,000 square feet offering an expansive collection of fine products
from around the globe. |
ADAC was opened in 1961 by John Portman who also developed the
Americas Mart. This amazing center has been expanded five times. A
major renovation beginning in 2006 celebrated its completion in
December of 2007. |

| We had the
pleasure of
rubbing shoulders
with many of the most
talented designers in the industry. Heard keynote presentations and
were treated to a visual emporium of all the latest in the world of
interiors. Among the speakers were designer and author Celerie Kemble
and Charles Faudree who shared highlights from his 35-year design
career. Veranda's Deborah Sanders moderated a panel discussion that
included Peter Dunham who has been on the top 100 designers list. Lloyd
Princeton of Design Management Company who is dedicated to the business
needs of design professionals and Trina Turk textile and clothing
designer. |
